Dr. Richardson has been a correctional healthcare provider for over 25 years and started her career in corrections at Orient Reception Center in Orient, OH in 1989. Since that time she has worked in multiple correctional facilities in multiple jurisdictions, including infamous "G" House known as "Death Row" in Georgia's Jackson Diagnostic Classification Center. In 2016, Dr. Richardson was instrumental in spearheading the removal of Corizon Health from the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, GA. She has a vast amount of experience in correctional healthcare ranging from medication administration to assisting with accreditation preparation. Dr. Richardson holds a Nursing Degree from Atlanta Technical College in Atlanta, GA, an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, Master's in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University, a Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law, Forensic Nurse Specialist Certification from the American Institute of Healthcare Professionals and her PhD in General Psychology from Atlantic International University. Dr. Richardson is a member of both the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) and the American Correctional Association (ACA) and has obtained dual certifications from each organization. Dr. Richardson's specialty is correctional healthcare. Dr. Richardson is often invited to speak on many panels and is an engaging motivational speaker, she is known for her strong stance against for-profit healthcare companies who fall short of the ability to deliver quality healthcare to individuals who are incarcerated.
Ms. Malcolm is originally from Philadelphia, PA. Ms. Malcolm started her correctional healthcare career in 2007 as a staff nurse working for Prison Health Services in Pennsylvania for the Juvenile Justice System. Ms. Malcolm has held several capacities in correctional healthcare ranging from Nursing Supervisor to Health Service Administrator. Ms. Malcolm has a tremendous amount of correctional healthcare experience and specializes in accreditation preparation, site surveys and detox treatment protocols. Ms. Malcolm holds two Masters degree's, one in Health Care Administration and the other in Nursing both earned at University of Phoenix. Ms. Malcolm earned her Advanced Graduate Nursing Practice Degree from Maryville University, and earned her Forensic Nursing Certification from American Institute of HealthCare Professionals. Ms. Malcolm's mantra is " no treatment is mis-treament"
and believes that at the core of everything we do as correctional healthcare professionals we must utilize " Integrity" and render patient care with the utmost respect and competence. Throughout her tenure as a correctional healthcare provider, Ms. Malcolm has created and implemented several policies directly correlated to healthcare delivery in a correctional environment. Ms. Malcolm is a proud member of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) and the American Correctional Association (ACA) and holds dual certifications from both organizations.
